A ruby, sapphire, diamond & garnet set brooch designed as a dragonfly. the body set with an oval cut sapphire, flanked by rose-cut diamond set wings with oval cut ruby terminals, the tail set with old-circular cut diamonds. ruby set eyes to head & green garnet set antenna - the diamonds very approx 2.8 carats in total, 6cm wide, 5.3 cm long, 17.8g, safety chain clasp hallmarked for 9ct gold birmingham 1902
